Logging in to your retirement account is easy!

  • Enter your username & password.  If you are logging in for the first time, check your enrollment materials to learn your plan defaults.  If you don't know your plan defaults, please call Ameritas/BlueStar at 904.273.5220.  After validating your identity, you will be provided with your default credentials.  If we are not able to validate your identity, you will need to contact your plan sponsor to obtain your login credentials.

  • Once you have logged in, if you or your employer have previously provided an email address or cell phone number, you will be prompted to authenticate your login through multi-factor authentication. This is an important part of our security measures to help protect your account against fraudulent activity.  Select the email address or phone number and then enter the code that you receive when prompted.   If you or your employer have not previously provided an email address or cell phone number, you will instead be prompted for a plan password.  You may obtain your plan password from your enrollment materials.  If your materials are not available, you may call BlueStar at 904.273.5220 to validate your identity. If we are not able to validate your identity, please contact your employer to obtain your plan password.

  • Once you have been authenticated, you will then be prompted to change your userid and password and to establish your security profile.  These are critical steps to safeguard your account.  Be sure to pick a userid and password that is not easily known.  When selecting security questions, pick questions and answers that are not readily available from publicly available information.  For instance, the question/answer combination of "Pick a random phrase/the sky is blue" is more secure than "Name your favorite football team/Eagles" since the latter answer would be known after visiting your social media accounts or guessed if you live in Philadelphia.  Finally, set up your cell phone number and email addresses.  This information will be used the next time you login as part of multi-factor authentication to validate your identity.  Be sure to add your personal email and cell number so that you can access your account even if you change employers.

  • You're done!  Be sure to regularly  review and update your information regularly so that you are always able to access your account securely.
